Our experts can help you decide on the right products for your needs
Why choose ESP Energy for your home?

- A Family-Run Business You Can Trust - We treat every home as if it were our own. Our reputation is built on relationships, not sales targets and we pride ourselves on clear advice, respectful service, and long-term support.
- Tailored, Not Templated - There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to renewables. We take time to understand your home, energy use, and priorities before recommending a solution – whether that’s solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps, or a combination. We don’t want to sell you a product, we want to give you enough information and as many options as you need to allow you to make an informed decision about whether a solution is right for you.
- All Work Done In-House - Our experienced in-house team includes heating engineers, electricians, roofers, and designers, so you can be confident the people on site know exactly what they’re doing and care about the end result.
- Support You Can Count On - We offer full maintenance, servicing, and technical support – including phone help and out-of-hours callouts, to keep your system running efficiently long after the installation is complete.

FAQs
The first step in our process is to sit down with you, ideally face to face, to gain a clear understanding of your requirements, site conditions, and how your business operates. This initial consultation allows us to assess your energy consumption patterns, review any data or information you have available, and explore your long-term objectives.
We believe that successful projects start with listening, not selling. By taking the time to understand your organisation and energy profile in detail, we can tailor a solution that genuinely aligns with your operational goals and delivers measurable value from day one.
Solar PV Systems
Generate your own clean electricity from the sun, even on cloudy days.
Battery Storage
Store excess solar power for use in the evenings or during peak times.
Air Source & Ground Source Heat Pumps
Highly efficient, low-carbon heating for your home, perfect for replacing oil, LPG, or old electric systems.
EV Charging Points
Convenient, fast home charging for your electric vehicle.
Biomass Boilers
Whether its logs, wood chip, or pellets, you can heat your home easily using either your own supply or via a local supplier of carbon neutral fuel.
Ongoing maintenance and support
We don’t walk away once the system is up and running. Our nationwide servicing team keeps your equipment performing at its best, year after year. And because we’re registered electricity brokers too, we can even help you keep an eye on energy tariffs and government schemes that could save you money.
Yes. We can integrate your charger with your solar PV system to prioritise clean, self-generated electricity, reducing your reliance on grid energy.
Generally no, but it depends on the size and location. We can advise during our site visit and assist with permissions if needed.
With islanding-enabled systems, your battery will automatically disconnect from the grid and continue to power key circuits in your property.
ESP Energy operates a dedicated maintenance and servicing division that spans the length and breadth of the UK, supporting a wide range of technologies including heat pumps, biomass and gas boilers, solar PV systems, and Combined Heat & Power (CHP) units. We offer flexible service contracts tailored to your operational needs, along with responsive out-of-hours call-outs and ongoing telephone support.
Our approach is centred around reliability, availability, and convenience – we work around your schedule to minimise disruption and ensure your systems continue to perform at their best. In addition, we are registered electricity brokers, with an experienced back-office team that monitors energy markets in real time. This enables us to advise clients on cost-saving opportunities, available schemes, and energy procurement strategies that align with your broader energy goals.
Most homes and sites can support 7kW (single-phase) chargers. For faster charging or multiple bays, we may recommend a 22kW or three-phase connection.
CHP systems require regular servicing, it also benefits from having a skilled engineer on site to undertake daily and weekly checks and tasks. As the UK’s CHP specialists, we offer comprehensive maintenance plans and stock critical spare parts.
That depends on your energy usage, solar generation, and goals (backup, savings, off-grid, etc.). We’ll help you choose the right system during your consultation.
