ESP Energy delivered a smart, resilient energy solution for an industrial facility in Staffordshire, combining a 27kW solar PV system, integrated battery storage, and a KeeSafety KeeLine™ fall protection system. This forward-thinking installation not only slashed energy costs but also safeguarded critical infrastructure and improved maintenance safety.

At the heart of the system is a solar and battery gateway, which allows the site to “island” during power outages, maintaining energy supply to essential equipment, including security systems and IT servers. Coupled with advanced battery management and solar optimisation, the solution has reduced the site’s electricity bills by 78% while offsetting over 4 tonnes of CO₂ annually.

To ensure safe access for rooftop inspections and servicing, ESP Energy also installed a KeeLine™ horizontal safety line, providing fall protection for maintenance staff in full compliance with HSE regulations.
